Pics of some of my Cresties....

lovelyleopards Jun 21, 2004 12:45 PM

My collection is growing slowly - I have really gotten hooked on these little guys. This is the male of the first pair I purchased back in November. He is a darkfire partial pinstripe male, and one of my favorites. He's honestly not even completely fired up in this pic. His name is Hanuman.

This is Shiva, the mate of the male above. She's a little thin from egg laying, but still very pretty.

This is the first clutch of babies from the above pair. They were born in May.

This is Harley... got this gal back in March from a local herp show - she's much larger now, and almost breeding size. I love the intensity of her color.

Got this guy from Travis Cossette as a nondescript dull gray baby, and I am amazed at his color change within the last few months. I was actually glad he turned out male!!! He'll be breeding in the future with the harlequin female above.

This is an unsexed baby that also came from Travis Cossette. I know it's hard to see, but this little one has some of the strongest, boldest brindling/tiger striping that I have seen on a crested, especially this young. Here's hoping this one is a girl...

Picked this gal up, along with the male below, last weekend. They're close to breeding size, probably need another 1-2 months.

And finally the mate of the above female, Balder. I love his coloration and unique appearance. It's hard to tell, but he has 2 dark parallel stripes running down him dorsally, almost like a reverse pinstripe. I hope that trait is reproduceable.
