Hello there,

I got a couple of Banded Geckos which were told to be caught in Arizona near Phoenix.
Can anybody help me deciding which subspecies occures in that surrounding?
In western Arizona it is the Desert Banded Gecko (Coleonyx variegatus variegatus),
in the south-east of that state occures the Tucson Banded Gecko (Coleonyx variegatus bogerti) - but where do they put Phoenix?

I think it's C.v.bogerti.

I found some in 1999 near Phoenix and I think I determined that's what they were.

i'm almost positive, my first ones should hatch in about a week and a half and i have 3 gravid females

Phoenix is pretty much in an intergrade zone between C.v.variegatus and bogerti.
