heres some good advice,
Make sure the male you get is in no way related to your female
and don't squat with your spurs on.

Not to speak for Bennett, but it means just what it looks like it means, I'm sure.

Make sure your beardies aren't related. Make sure their parents aren't related. The captive gene pool for these animals is sensitive right now, and we need people breeding who know what they are doing and are willing to go that extra mile to produce healthy animals. Too many people breed for the wrong reasons, for the fun of it or because their beardie was lonely and needed a girlfriend, but don't put the thought and consideration into it that is so critical. Just do your research, be prepared, and do it right, that's all.

"Don't squat with your spurs on" is pretty self-explanatory.
