I just got a male ball and his father was 50% possible het pied what are the chances of me breeding him and the female i have and get pieds? I am thinking 0% but i thought i would ask. Thanks

You are correct. You must breed the dad back to his daughters.

Yours is 25% het pied....and only if your female is any type of het could you get pieds....but its very low of a chance to get pieds with 2 25% hets.....

Genetics. A 50% het pied bred to a normal is the way you prove if the 50% het pied is a 100% het pied. Now if the male is a 100% pied all his clutches will be 50% het pied. That is how you can prove them out. And if it is 100% normal then the entire clutch is 100% normal. Perhaps you were thinking of the breeding of a 100% double het snow to a normal then each baby has a 25% chance of being double het for snow.

Ok i have broken the wife down to letting me get an albino female to go along with my 2 males. So i can get albinos from doing this or does one of the males also have to have some % of albino in him?

If your males are normal, then when bred with an albino female, you will get all normal looking offspring that are 100% het albino. Breed one of her male offspring back to her and you should get some albinos and some more hets...
