Ball size??

i was wondering how big baby ball pythons are when there born. my baby is 17 inches and was born last month. is this normal or he big.

I would say if your baby is 17", then it is more than a month old. Where did you get him/her? If you purchased your Ball from a pet shop, then you can almost be sure that they do not know when the animal was really born. Either your measurement is off, or the information you were given is incorrect.

Just a note...
I have 20 hatchlings now and none are over 14". If it is a month old, that's one very large baby. I'm not saying it's impossible, just highly unlikely.

Not normal, but not unheard of. I could make a 14" hatchling 17" in a months time easily (some do hatch out that big).
