I have a new clutch of eggs that appeared viable at the time of laying-- they adhered to one another, were nice and white and with filled out shells-- apart from little square clearish areas everything seemed fine. I have had them incubating for about a week and checked them today to find them still white and firm but there were small water droplets on the outside of the shells. I have heard that this means the eggs are dead/dying and no longer absorbing moisture. Is this necisarily so? Thanks for any help.
