branches from the woods

janome Jun 21, 2004 09:23 PM

I have a jungle carpet python that loves to climb. Only problem is any kind of branches are expensive to buy. A friend of mine found a nice long branch in the woods where she lives. I took all the bark off it. Scrubbed it with bleach water then sprayed prevent-0-mite all over it to make sure there are no bugs.
I put it in her 80 gallon tanks and she loves it.

My question is will this branch be safe for her since I cleaned it pretty good? I just don't have money to spend on these fake, expensive branches. Anyone have an answer...Thanks..
