do gravid hogs eat more?

I have a hog that I think may be gravid. She's eating like a pig.

I havent bred any hogs yet but if they are like other colubrids they will eat a lot in the beginning but only take small prey items or none at all once they get close to laying.

My female was a major hog while gravid. I did'nt even realize she was gravid until I got the eggs. I though she was just on a eating and growing streak.
