Beardie Cage

ok... so here's the scoop, i got a beardie thats about a month old and just over 9 inches. He's growing about an inch a week, and is quickly outgrowing his 10 gallon tank. I was wondering wut tank size i should get next, i was thinking a 20 or 30 gallon tank.

Wut do you think...?

Eventually you're going to need a minimum of a 40 gal. breeder tank. At the same time with your beardie being that young a big tank may stress him out.

Are you sure about the age and length? If he's 9 inches I'd be willing to bet he's older than a month. If that's the case I'd go for a tank that will last him the rest of his life.

you could put him into a 20 gallon or once he is about 11 inches you can move him directly into a 40 gallon.

In early August im purchasing a used 55 gallon tank from my uncle (used to have fish) and by then my beardie will be over a foot. This sound like a good plan? For $80 i'm getting the 55 gallon tank, a wooden tank stand, and lighting fixture ( dunno if i'll use the light tho), but how long can a dragon live in a 55 gallon tank for?
