Xeero shed a few days ago, and I haven't been able to pick him up and inspect him because I had to go out a few days in a row and didn't come back until late and I had a baby-sitting job until 10:30 on Sunday. When I handled him yesterday, I noticed a patch of old skin over his nostril. I tried to gently rub it off with a wet cottonswab, but he kept jerking away and running down my arm. He's only about 5 inches, so I' afraid to try and grip him to rub off the old skin, in fear that I might hurt him.

How should I get the old skin off? Please help!
