Oh happy day! She's returned! There is hope Keith!

Oh happy day! About a half an hour ago I went into my mouse room to check on some expected litters, and guess what I found? My nasty tempered little '02 female Mexican Black, Maria, busy constricting a feeder mouse that was WAY too big for her in my medium-large food-mouse tank, lol.
She's been gone now for what, about 3 months? Maybe a bit longer? She disappeared mysteriously out of a completely locked tight rubbermaid snap-top tub, and I've searched the house through several times to no avail...I felt sure she'd made it outside or the basement, or had been eaten by one of my 3 cats, and was lost forever.
But no! She looks great, as bad-tempered as ever, thank god she wasn't about to let go of the mouse she'd just killed or she most certainly would have filled my fingers full of holes I'm sure. So now I have a pair of Mexi Blacks again =) This has made my day...my last few months even, lol.

So see Keith? There is hope, just keep looking and she'll probably show up when you least expect her to....check your mouse room often =P

I lost an axanthic brooks neonate one time and I had it turn up in my bed.
I was going to sleep and it was dark. I awoke because there was a bug or aninmal with some size crawling in my hair. It felt as though it was a bug or cockroach or something else repulsing...I immediatly turned the light on to dish out a beating on the disgusting creature. But with the light on I saw it was actually in my pillow case. I thought a disgusting coackroach or giant spider had made its way into my pillowcase. I then noticed a different crawling behavior and low and behold (or should I say "joy sublime", lol!) I saw it was a snake! I reached into my pillow case and took out my prize. Boy was I happy . It was my axanthic brooksi!
