I house Rachel my adult female rhino, and my adult male rhino together. Since I introduced them into the same enclosure I have seen little social activity. When I first introduced them they displayed what I would consider normal cyclura behavior(head bobs, etc) But after the first couple of days they stopped interacting. Both are very healthy, and get along great. I was hoping to maybe get some eggs from these stunning rhinos, but at this rate it does not seem likely. I do keep them inside due to the unpredictable weather we are having in this area, I am thinking once they get outside they will behave more naturally. I think Rachel is ready, but my male seems to be napping on the job. I am happy that they are compatible, but I would love to see what the babies from this pair look like. Does anyone have any experience or advice that could help my situation?
Thanks so much, more pics are on the way.
