MY beardie is about 7 in and I have him in a 10 gallon and im going to buy a 55 affter he out grows this one tho so what size should i wait to buy it cause i herd it can be bad if u put them in to big of a tank to early. thx for any comments.

I would say that he is probably ready. I have not heard that it can be bad to put them in too big of a tank. (I could be wrong about this) I had my boy in a 55 when he was about 10 inches long (but he was in a 20gallon Long as a hatchling).
I think if I were you, I would put more furniture in the 55 gallon and then as he grows, leave the minimum (basking spot & hides). I did this when I got my hatchling. I had a couple of hides, a couple of branches for him to climb, then as he got bigger, I took out one hide and one branch...then moved him to a new home.

if I remember, thats 12x12x12? I would say its getting close. You can probably get a larger tank and section it off and then just move the partition as he grows. That is the most cost effective.
The reason for small cages is to give the BD a sence of security so they are not lost in this giant place. It also makes it easier when feeding live prey. small areas make it easier to hunt and arder for crix to hide.
