Line Breeding

slytherin Jun 22, 2004 05:56 PM

i was wondering if anyone had been possibly line breeding to raise the amount of a specific color in normals.....I have seen it in boa constrictors i think it 's called the scarlet boa....where they kept line breeding to bring the red out in the boa.....just wondering if anyone has been trying & what the results has been so far & if there's any pics to go along with it.

The only thing I have heard of and I can not honastly say whether or not anyone is line breeding them is high gold. The more gold and bright normals are heavily saught after for breeding with pastels so that is a big market right now. I have seen high gold normal females sell for as much as $300. That is a lot considering that you can find most normals around $50 almost anywhere. Todd
