Is This a Motley?

StoneAge Jun 22, 2004 06:27 PM

My eggs are hatching! The male is a Motley and the Female is a Amelanistic. A few of these looks like the one below. The male lacks black and is like a red color. these dont look anything like him. So im thinking, do motleys change color when they get older? Thanks!

Motley has nothing to do with color...it is a patterning trait where the striping is incomplete and spotlike...i think...correct me if im wrong here guys but that looks motley to me

When I had my motley, I had no idea what it was, and was very confused. I have a picture under somewhere, but honestly, a true motley is a wierd colored, wierd patterned, kinda muted looking snake. The snake up the right side of this picture was the one I'm talking about. FYI, hope this helps.
