So what's everybody holding?

yoput Jun 19, 2003 09:43 PM

Basicaly I'm just curious to know what Uroplatus everyone is holding onto right now. what palns people are making for them. Are any of you working high end geckos or rareties. I'm looking to start building on my collection here at a pretty moderate pace and would like to open my extras out to people who need them to fill holes in there projects and hopefuly start to fill some holes in my own projects.Heres my curent roster

1.2 Uroplatus Sikkorea
1.0 Uroplatus Henkeli
0.1 Uroplatus Sp.
1.0 Underwoodasaurus Miili
1.1 Diplodactylus Dameaum(insane)
2.2 veiled Cham project

My goal is to wind up with a trio of all nine Uroplatus and hang onto my veiled projects If anyone can fill in my gaps or sees something that might benefit one of their projects feel free to email me

Heh.
My 1.1 Sikorae is enough for me, thanks. =)

I've been kind of thinking about getting a few arrow frogs though

I know for a fact that two of mine have pink mouths but I havent go the third to open his mouth up for me yet, and I'm not realy intrested in opening it for him.

are yours a breeding pair or group and where did you get them from. the reason i ask is that true sikore sameties are really rare, according to experts. i am trying to find out more information about them (locales and such) and i was wondering if you could share that with me. thank you

Yes they are a breeding trio, although I have yet to prove them, although it's only been two weeks. I acquired them from someone on kingsnake, and he told me there was a chance one of the females might be gravid allthough form what I can tell shes just really fat. I keep them all in the same bin, and they get along great. As far as where they are from originaly I can only guess. When I bought them there was no mention about the color of the mouth so I guess it was just my luck that brought them to me. As far as there hardiness goes they ate the first night I released them from there little shipping containers , and have eaten every 2-3 nights since without hessitation. At this moment I'm pretty torn about keeping them because I really like them and they're so healthy but I've got an opportunity to pick up some more very rare Diplodactylus and I might need some extra funding
