As far as care, including tank set up, I have three small bags worth of sand in the bottom of the tank, and I "buried" a litttle gecko hide-away rock box with an outside piece that magnetically sticks on the outside of the glass of the tank for easy viewing without disturbing. They love it. They stay in there all day, and this way I don't have to worry about them getting trapped beneath the sand when they tunnel. This way with the box, they have a safe place to hide, so they feel they don't need to tunnel to make a place to hide. It works out very nicely. They also have a shallow water dish. I can get pictures of this set up if you like. I feed them once a day, at night if I can. Mine don't care for crickets so the staple I use in their diet is meal worms, small. I keep the heat lamp on a timer which switches on and off during the day to keep the temp in the mid 70s low 80s, then it switches off at night for them to romp around and play in the nice cool of the night. Any other questions I may be able to help with??? Hope this helps!!!

You were looking for infor on the Stenos right??? Well here is some information I found on them in case you still wanted it.
>>An inhabitant of dry, stony and sandy areas, S. sthenodactylus is a salmon pink colour with slightly darker bands running across the back that grow more pronounced around the tail. Unusually perhaps for lizards, females tend to be larger, although males are easily distinguishable by their hemipenile bulges. For captive maintenance Rogner recommends a terrarium about 2' by 2' with a layer of sand up to 3" deep and some pieces of sandstone arranged to give cover. He also emphasises the benefit of a winter cooling period.
