Our Little Group of Crested Killers (Images)

NeoScales Jun 22, 2004 11:44 PM

Here's the first attempt to get some of our Crested's together for a group photo - they are little [bleep]s! But they are growing well and we've got a few keepers in the bunch.

These are a few of what we have right now:

Our thanks again to Anthony Caponetto for all his help ( and his geckos )

Those are beautiful little guys, Randy. Great pictures as well. If you don't mind a couple questions -

What are you using for a background? Looks like some sort of black velvet...

What kind of camera/lighting setup did you use here?

Thanks

I use the Canon Digital Rebel body with a 90mm Tamron 1:1 Macro lens. For lighting on these photos, I use two small clamp lights pointed to a car window sun-reflector and reflected back onto the subject for the rear. My flash is a Vivitar E-TTL bounce flash (1/16th and Full Power)shot through a 80/20 bounce/diffuser (from LumiQuest).

With the exception of the lens and camera body, the rest is about $95 worth of equipment.
