JCP Nippy Question

marktexas Jun 23, 2004 01:57 AM

I just got a JCP, It is about a month old. Everything I read about them says they can be nippy when they are young. I have fed my twice and handled it quite a bit, and it has never shown any signs of aggression or been nippy (knock on wood). If they are going to be nippy will they be that way right out of the egg or is it something they pick up along the way? Just curious if I had fun times ahead or lucked out and got one that's not going to be nippy. Have I said nippy enough in this post? LOL

It can depend on the snkae but for the most part non-nippers are usually good for life as long as they're handled regularly (just like any snake). So congrats on a well tempered JCP and I hope you enjoy him for years to come!
