Placing a moist paper towel over the eggs seems to work well for adding moisture to the situation. If they were the females first clutch, it was likely infertile.

isn't 80% humidity pretty high already? why would you want to place a moist paper towel over it? everything that i have read online about breeding says that they dent when they get too moist. this isn't a challange, i've had leos for quite some time, but i am new to breeding. i'm just asking for my own information.

Actually 80% is about right. From my experience, most of my denting has been from not enough moisture, and the moist paper towel helps that quite a bit. I know that's what's happened with my eggs, I have no idea what experiences other breeders have.
