Any one use the Vision 632? Or any other of the large Visions?

kieranduncan Jun 23, 2004 02:23 PM

Hello, Im going to order a 632, 6'Lx3'Wx18"D. Will this hold up well for the rest of my snakes life? (around 10 years). I want to spend the extra on something that wont need replacing, is easier to wash than wood, is lighter and much better over all! Im in the U.K so cant go and look at one up close, so I want some peoples opinion's on them before I place my order. Are the sliding door's glass or plastic? Thanks

I have had some of mine for 8 years now. They still look almost new. I've broken a few pieces of glass (my fault) and have had to replace a couple of the protective strips on the glass. Other than that, no problems.

The 632 is kind of deep. I prefer the 622. easier to clean. just a personal preference.

28 inches deep is fine, and maybe still more that you need, for an adult female. But if you get that size, it will be large enough for the animal's life.
I have 1 6'x 3' cage and 4 6'x 28" cages.
I have a 9 1/2 female in the larger vision and it is way more room than she needs.
I like visions, easy to clean and heat.
The 4' vision would be fine for a male boa...for life.

Good Luck!

What are you using for heat? I have a 4fter not in use because I couldn't maintain temps and humidity.
