I was wondering if anybody knew of any good spots in Austin to observe herps in their natural enviroment. I just moved here so i'm clueless. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hey,
I'm about to move out to Austin too. You should check out the Austin Herp Society. They have field trips regularly and seem like a great bunch of folks.

Ray,
There are a number of active herpers in Austin. You could try posting a question on the TX Field herping list at Yahoo. I know several of the Austin herpers subscribe to that list.
