Found a few Diamondback water snakes in north central missouri. This yearling was found crossing the gravel road at mid day.

Well, tenacity does count! Diamondbacks are smart looking water snakes - they've got it all. As much as I love to watch my snakes grow, youngsters are still the sweetest. Great shot!
