I am looking into getting a Columbian Red Tail. I am wanting to know what yall housed your babies in and how long you kept them in there before you moved them to a larger enclosure. I also want to know what you house your full grown boas in.
Thanks

Well i'll start with the babies. My dad build Steve and I this amazing rack system which you see below which fits about 1/3 on our newborn babies this year and Steve and I have no idea what we will get for next year, but for this year its awesome and its an extremely beautiful peice which always gets alot of attention when we have people looking at our collection. As for the adults it ranges we have a set of 6 home made 4x2 tanks for some of the smaller females and males, basically anything about 6 feet or less is in there and then we own some 6x2 monster tanks for the bigger females and we also use that as our breeding tanks for the season. They are the large white tanks in the picture below. Anyways the hardest thing for us is to make sure access to the cages is easy and safe, we try not to place any of the more aggressive females in the top tanks because it puts them in striking range of my face when i open the door, but thats what we use.. Hope this helps!
Sincerely,
Rose Hipskind
