hair balls

I've owned a dwarf caiman for over 2 years now, and he's recently started coughing up what appear to be hairballs. My understanding is that caiman are known to regurgitate portions of prey they find hard to digest. Is that the case? He subsists mostly on mice, along with crickets and fish on occasion. Is there anything I can do about the hairball problem?

It's completely normal, don't worry about it.
