First order of business:
Several threads were removed temporarily from the forum earlier so that they could be reviewed. That process has been completed. Those threads will not be reinstated to the forum for a wide variety of reasons.
Second order of business:
Let it be known that we allow dissent, debate, and disagreement on ISSUES. We have no problem when the members of a community disagree, even when they passionately disagree.
What we DO NOT allow are conversations that degenerate into name-calling, insults, and/or general chaos that lead to the overall disruption to the flow of conversation on a forum.
When people post negative or personal comments about other people in the discussion, instead of sticking to the issues, that is in violation of our Terms of Service - it does not matter 'who' started it.
The personal fighting amongst one another has to stop. Debate the issue - do not single out and attack another person(s). It's that simple. If you simply cannot ignore the urge to attack someone for whatever reason - DO NOT disrupt the forums by posting complaints or attacks against those individuals here. You are asked to take your fighting elsewhere - be it private email or to some other website.
Please remember that these forums are moderated. Folks should already be aware of the fact that by registering and using our sites and services, everyone here has agreed that that they have read, and will abide by, our Terms of Service. Failure to abide by the rules may result in individuals losing their posting privaleges to the forums without any warning given.
Third order of business
Reporting forum abuses -
All messages posted on the discussion forums contain a 'report abuse' link within them. If you wish to report a message that is abusive or questionable, please use the link provided there (found next to the author's name).
