Freedom Breeders

Who raises boas here in the ball python medium tub(ten level, thirty tray) Freedom Breeder?
Any input of pros and cons would be appreciated.
Mike
p.s. I mean raise till about 4 foot or so, which is comfortable for the boa, anything bigger obviously needs bigger space!

Now this isnt first hand experiance but i have heard that boas in Freedom Breeders dont do as well as they would in other rack systems due to the open tops of the freedoms. I dont know what size rack this person was using but he told Steve and I that the rack system was causing him alot of shed problems with his boas and that he had to change over to homemade racks and move all his Australia Based Pythons into the rack he was useing for the boas. Again this is second hand advice but still advice that Steve and I took to heart... Good luck with all your projects. Let us know how that rack works out for you

Sincerely,
Rose Hipskind

I have used the large racks to raise up boas for years now with no problem. I feel that they are great racks and really cut back on cleaning time.
