Cape Gopher Eggs

flaguy406 Jun 23, 2004 08:23 PM

Just wondering if anybody out there has any experience with incubating Cape Gopher Eggs? I have had a clutch in the incubator for about 2 months now and just wondering how long it takes for them to hatch for other people? If you have information about length of incubation or suggested incubation temps, please let me know.

thanks,
Ian

Ian,
I have a clutch of capes incubating now. I just put them in a styro container with a mixture of vermiculite and perlite. I use a piece of glass to cover the container and put it up on a closet shelf. I know some of my pit eggs last year took up to 76 days to hatch, just be patient. Ron
