Milk Snake not eating

ferie Jun 24, 2004 12:30 AM

What could be the reason for a 3-4 months milk snake to refuse a young mouse, after he had one 2 weeks ago? he refused to catch him when he was alive, and once he was dead, he took him to his hide but did not eat it.

Is he turning cloudy for shedding? I have a yearling tangerine honduran and he doesn't eat when he is in shedding mode.

Yeah it's likely that it is in shed. But there could be other reasons as well, maybe a drastic change in temperature or humidity?
