I am no expert, so take this with a grain of salt, but he looks like a she from that pic. My 2 month old female ambanja looks just like your baby. She has that brownish coloration with hints of green. Is that the typical coloration, or is it sometimes more greyish? Also, what is it's resting color? I'm not sure on the locale either, but like I said it looks just like my female ambanja.
It looks like a male panther to me.
It looks like a male and a female to me. Males tend to have more grey or green colors to them, but some rare females will also display that color. My female ambilobe looks just like that, with lots of greens. The best way to tell is to have a look at the hemipenal bulge at the base of its tail. Oh..and sorry to go of topic, but no one can tell the morph of a panther that age. I think the earliest you can be sure of is abotu 5 to 6 months.
