Please don't take this personally, but read all that you can here. Do a web search for "Bearded Dragon Care Sheet" and read that too.
The calci-sand, bad stuff for the little guy. I never used it but from what I read, it can cause impaction (clog up his guts) which can be fatal.
The dry food, good luck with it. Some dragons love it, some wont touch it and would rather starve to death than eat it. Most have to be kind of tricked to start eating dry food. You need to offer fresh greens about two hours after lights go on (do you know about the light requirements?) Greens like Collard, Mustard, Dandelion, Kale, etc.
Feed cricket several times a day, IMPORTANT!!! Cricket size should be no larger than the space measured between your dragon's eyes. It will eat big crickets but that could kill him too!
Just read up and get a routine down, That's what works best and the dragons seem to have an internal clock. They know when the greens are coming, when the crix, when lights out is.
Good Luck and always ask questions here! Great help always comes fast.
