Turtle sightings galore...

carl3 Jun 24, 2004 01:54 AM

Well, I've seen more eastern box turtles while road cruising this season than total combined in my whole 28 yr life. Maybe its lunar or maybe (and more probable) overdevelopment is driving them all out of the safe cover of forest???? I have a few pics I'll post soon but photobucket seems to be down right now so I can't retrieve them.

Jason, thanks for sharing the photos, they're terrific.
I applaud your "take only pictures, leave only footprints" approach.
Regards,
Stephanie
