Butter...

Sunglow...

another shot...she is my least likely to breed since I think something is wrong with her CNS...maybe exposure to a pesticide? who knows...either that or she is simply the most nervous snake I've ever owned.

great pics and some great snakes you have there Jason.

what kind of camera do you use?

my supposedly good digital gives me very blurry pics unless i am three feet away from the subject. Not close enough for any good pictures of my yearling. So i am in the market for a new digital in the next few months and your camera seems to take great shots and the colors seem very natural.

My camera is the cheapest digital fuji digital camera around. Are you using the MACRO feature on your camera? Sounds like that might be the problem. I had the same problem for awhile but when I discovered macro...it opened a whole new world of photo opportunities.

no macro on my digicam, part of the reason i am in the market for a new one. Also main problem with my current one is the only "good" pictures are taken outside on a sunny day, the flash seems to distort color in the pictures.

i took about 20 pictures of my new snake and this is the best i got in a bright room.
