Most Boa constrictor imperator subspecies stay on the smaller side, which is why I've taken such a liking to them. The males will get between 3.5-5 ft while the females between 4.5-6ft (I think...correct me if I'm wrong).
Anyway, these all stay on the smaller side...
Sonoran desert (dwarf mexican) boas
Nicaraguan boas
Hog Island boas
,,,and there are plenty more like cay caulker boas, corn island boas....but they tend to get more expensive depending on rarity of captive breedings and small clutch sizes.
The only snakes in my collection that will exceed 6-7ft are the argentines (which are Boa constrictor occidentalis), and they get much much bigger, which I haven't fully thought through yet. I do spend extra time handling those whenever I can for that reason. I really don't like the idea of keeping any herp that requires two people to work with it safely. However, argentines are truly magnificent and when you see them in person..wow.. and you're 99.9% sure to get a captive bred one since they are so endangered and export is illegal.
