New lighting!!

So I went shopping online yesterday and found some things at bigappleherp.com that I probably should have gotten the first time around, but hey...we all know the pet store doesn't carry what you need and isn't going to tell you even if they do. One of those items was a new hood light with 3 separate bulbs. One 24" florescent UVA bulb, and 2 incandescent lights. I opted for the daylight incandescent on one side, and a blacklight incadescent on the other. It looks MUCH better than just the one reflective lamp with 40 watt bulb that I had before!
I set up the florescent light to come on at 6am, and go off at 10:30pm via timer, then set up another timer for the blacklight. It comes on at 10:30pm and goes off at 3:30am. THanks to the blacklight, I was finally able to see "Gibbey" come out of his hide, and wander around his home, stopping to soak for a minute in his water bowl. I'll have pictures of old/new setups soon.
Next on the list is a THermostat for the UTH, and a dual probe thermometer.

oh yeah, I should have told you that I found the hood light at Petsmart last night while I was there looking at dog houses. It was only $2 more than online, so I figured I was saving a few bucks overall on shipping by buying it there...Sorry about that.
