Cody vs, Annie

CrazyCodyKadunk Jun 24, 2004 10:15 AM

This morning I took Annie out of her cage when she started to hiss and puff up so I though she did not want to be held right now and I would put her back. She was on my left arm when she suddenly shot for my right hand I pulled my right hand out of the way when she went for my face I backed up and tripped and she got me on my left elbow on the way down. The bite did not hurt but the fall did. After I hit the ground she took off across the room. I then picked her up and put her back in her cage. I think she was a little angry this morning because I normally do not pick her up till late in the evening or night.

After she had her nap I took her out and she was as friendly and happy and acted like nothing even happened this morning. I weighed her today and she was 6 pounds. How much should she weigh if she is 5 foot long?

sounds about right for 5 feet. nice mark there. I like the leave snakes that are hissing alone. the worst anaconda injury i have had was from hitting my elbow on something when I went to dodge a bite. I think some of the hissing was anaconda laughter.
