Question about RES (want to be fed by hand)

Hi Can anyone answer this question. I have had a RES for about 2 months now and at first he would eat the live fish in his tank yesterday I notice he was not eating the fish so I pick up a fish a held him out of the water and the turtle ate him other than that he wont eat the fish I was worried so I feed him 10 fish and he ate them all. I do give him Reptomin all any help or information would be appreciate. He is alert and he snap at me. Thanks Dianne

If he is well fed he doesn't feel the need to hunt the fish. I wouldn't worry about it, mine sometimes would ignore the fish for awhile, and then suddenly they would all be gone. Overfeeding is a much bigger problem.
