anaconda size

littleherper Jun 24, 2004 12:05 PM

I need to prove somebody wrong. does anyone have any pics of 25ft anaconda/s taken anytime in the last 15-20 years.
he basically said that it is impossible for a conda to get 35 ft.. and that if i found a conda bigger than 25ft hed give me 1 grand.

any pictures would be helpful. thx.

LOL littleherper I was in chat when that bet was made. Did you find out that that anaconda on the oregon zoo's web site was a yellow? http://www.oregonzoo.com/Cards/Amazon/green.anaconda.htm for those of you who havent seen it yet. I know it's trivial for me to keep asking the zoo to change their pic but it still bugs me. I did get an email that said the curator of that exhibit was too busy to investigate it. I think he/she is too busy trying to figure out wt animals they have. lol

i sent them an e-mail about it too and offered to give them pics of mine but they said they were going to change it soon.

Soon must be a relative term. I sent them my first email 2 months ago.

If I sent everyone an email on incoreect info I found on the next i would never have time to post in here. The albino anaconda that is a burmese python (in a zoo). the anaconda with the person inside that is a retic. there are tons of them... I could easily tell the zoo here they have a BCI in their amazon exibit for their "Redtail boa"...but it is in no way worth my time...Remeber the zoo guy that told me all about anacondas and the yellows three times the size as green and they are not water boas...it cant hurt our everyday life and most people that see these snakes that dont already know will probably forget they ever saw it in the first place...we are wierd people...the majority of the population does not care...we are the anaconda keeping wierdos, not them...lol
