I know boas are mostly nocturnal but would it be any problem to feed him during the day also?

I feed mine at any hour of day or night. When they are hungry feed them. Take care and good luck with your boas. Andy

Personally I do not see anything wrong with that. i feed my snakes throught the day. I feed ALL my snakes out of their cage in seperate rubbermaid/sterylite containers.. which are obviously clear plastic... but the light does not seem to bother them at all.
I have a faily small collection of about 20 or so boas and none of them have a problem eatin in the light.

I just throw a freshly killed rat in with my BRB and leave. He eats when ever he wants to. I don't think he does it on night or day. Just make sure you don't leave a live one in for a while.

I have to say that our boas will eat anything that enters the cage if they are in the right mood. They could care less what time of the day it is or what is entering the cage. It is the Ball Pythons that will give us trouble any time other than after sunset... But the Boas... Ahhhh they are the greatest eaters...
