crested/gargoyle geckos

staples Jun 24, 2004 01:37 PM

i need advice I own a male and a female crested gecko in a 100 gallon tall tank they are doing great but i just received a female gargoyle gecko from someone in my area who didn't want her anymore. She is about the same size as my crests now. Would she be alright in the cage with the crested geckos who have not shown any aggression turd a breeding pair of anoles i have in the tank with them. Since they are in the same genus would they inter breed? Thank you for you time and i hope for some advise I'm clueless when it comes to geckos.

Dont put the gargoyle in with cresteds, they are known to eat the tails from other species, so unless you are prepared to set up a viv for her you should not take her on.

thanks very much. well she is half starved so if i dont she wont last to long with her current owner so should she be fine in a 20 tall?

nope no misspelling i just got bord and made a huge cage for them im guessing its a 100 gallon its about 5'* 3'* 2'. they seem to like it. my uromastyxs have a bigger one. i felt bad seeing them in a small cage. think i should go bigger?
