What are your thoughts on a CB BP vs a Borneo Short Tail??
I'm hoping to get a new snake and have it narrowed down to these
two. Any thoughts?

I guess it depends on how large of an adult snake you want to deal with. An adult blood is a pretty big snake, but an adult BP is a nice medium sized snake. Bloods are also a bit more prone to humidity related problems, but with a bit of work and a hygrometer, you should be able to prevent that.

Well, have you done all your research?

BPs can be finicky eaters
Borneos can be strong eaters

BPs are pretty hardy snakes - you can make a few mistakes on humidity and temps at first without huge problemsBorneos need constant high humidity, or they can have problems with cronic RIs

You'll feed an adult BP large rats
You'll feed an adult Borneo rabbits

BPs do actually come out of their hides and move around
Borneos just kinda . . . lay there. A lot.

An adult BP'll prolly weigh 2000g (tho I have an almost 4'er who weighs just over 1,000)
An adult Borneo can weigh anywhere from 25-50 lbs.

Um, I think that covers a lot of the comparisons . . .
