are these just considered a "Pastell" or are they just light colored normals?

high gold or high yellow are normal balls with just an extraamount of yellow..they are in no way pastels....

So is it just by luck that you get a high yellow/gold or can they be bred?

I bred a high yellow female to an albino and the babies came out normal looking - as I expected. Then mom went and changed colors on me. I've seen it in chondros but never in BPs. She turned almost newspaper black and white. It was pretty wild. At first, I thought I got my tubs switched.
