Well, it's normal for a beardie who is angry or feeling threatened. Is ther anything that might be stressing him?

Not that I can think of that was why I was asking he has a neighbor but I have that side of his cage blocked so he can not see in that direction. Is it possible that he knows that snakes are kept in the same room even though he can not see them????

I'm not really sure. I know they have excellent sight but I don't know how strong their sense of smell is.

I have a beardie that used to be kept in a room, in full view of two kingsnakes and a chameleon. Now he's kept in a room where he can se a dog, cat, and ferret on a regular basis. None of these bother him at all. But man, if he sees my other beardie he get's TICKED.

I guess every beardie is different, and maybe if he can sense the snakes are there it's upsetting him, but for some reason I doubt that's the problem.

How old is he? Sometimes when a male reaches sexual maturity he can get a litte frustrated, but that's nothing to be concerned about. Other than that I'm not really sure what could be the problem.

I've got two beardies in seperate cages perpendicular to one another. I have cardboard or paper up on two of the walls of one of the tanks so they can only see each other in one tiny spot if they feel the need.

I swear I think they can see each other through the cardboard sometimes. Without being anywhere near the spot they can see each other one of them will look a the cardboard directly at where the other one is sitting and start bobbing and turning his beard black. I do not understand how this is happening. I guess it could also be a scent or some sort or maybe they're making sounds in a frequency we can't hear. All I know is that somehow they seem to know where the other one is when it should be impossible to tell.
