My Red ear slider isnt eating

Yopee Jun 24, 2004 04:53 PM

I don't know why but my res isn't eating all of a sudden. I have it in a 45 gallon tank with another res too. they have been living there for over two months. I don't know if this might be the reason but there has been this brown stuff spreading all over the plastic plants in my 45 gallon tank.

If the water is getting to cold at night...that could cause your res not to eat...same thing happend to my res a while back...once i got it heated up..after 2-3 days my turtle got a appetite and started eating

I don't think temperature is the problem because i have a heater that can sense what the temperature of the water is and I adjusted the heater to keep the temperature to be at 25 degrees. It was eating normally before this happened.
