This is the reptile show I was telling you about. From what I've heard it will be bigger and better than the Texas Reptile Expos. Last time I went to a TRE it was pretty disappointing, and that's when folks started telling me about this one...

I am really, really hoping to go. It will come down to if I can afford it, but I'm gonna do everything in my power to be there, even if I can't buy anything.

Im probbly going just to look on that show dont have the money either,but saving up

Yeah, that's what I usually do. I could spend hours just walking around looking at the different stuff, that's the most fun!

That's why I was so disappointed at the last TRE. It was only one small room, took about 15 minutes to look at everything, then I was done.

please dont talk about that show!!!!!!!!!!!! i reaaaaally wanted to go but i will be in turkey then to see my relatives. i wanted to go to it but cant im so sssssssaaaaaaaaaaaaad!

I think I'd give up a reptile show to see a whole different part of the world!

But you've probably been there before, I assume.

twice. what sucks there is no one cares for herps there!! they all treat animals badly!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not a DFW resident (I used to be and still think of myself as one, Denton I miss you!) but we now live near Austin Texas. We were actually thinking of getting a booth at this show though, we heard it is going to be really BIG! I have never had a booth at a reptile show before, its a new step...maybe we will do it. Its about a 3.5 hour drive for us, I feel like it would be selfish to put the kids(hatchlings) through the stress of it. We would be going mostly just to get back to the "homeland" for a few days, and meet some fellow reptile people. Its amazing how little you get out when there are hatchlings to feed. How bid is the risk of people spreading disease and parasites at these things? We of course would have hand sanitizer, but still... so scary... so many questions..

It would be neat to meet people off of the forums, I am always jealous of those people that go to Daytona and get to meet everyone. Grrrr, texas. But hey, if it wasn't for TX there would be no Kingsnake, right?

Hmmmm.. Maybe see you there???

It would be great to see you there, though! Austin isn't too bad a drive, I've done it round trip in a day more than a few times.
