I am going to the Indy show this weekend and am reciving delivery of a male and female LEO. They are sub adult one tangerine and the other a blizzard. WHAT IS EVERYONES THOUGHTS AND EXPERIENCES ON HOUSING MALE AND FEMALE TOGETHER? ALSO WHAT SIZE TANK IS FINE FOR A PAIR? Ive read several web sites on this subject, some say a 10 gallon and others say a 15 gallon. Whats the correct size for an adult pair of LEOS?

i've got a male and female as well. But i've heard and read that keeping one to one is very stressful for the female. Since all boys seem to have on their minds is mating

As for tank size, bigger is better.
Go with the 15, 20L i think is ideal, cuz on caresheets is 10L for one leo, correct me if i'm wrong.

good luck

So are you keeping the 2 together? If you are how are they coming along? I have also heard that but at the same time ive heard that its fine to do so. Can anyone else help shed some light on this subject? THE KINGSNAKE CARESHEET FOR LEOS SAYS ITS OK! Does anyone have any first hand experience?

I use a 10 gal for one leo, at least a 20 for 2. my general rule is 10 gal per leo, however there are so many sizes if you use a 40 breeder you could probably house an extra one or two.

As for males housed with females, I have some females who do not do well with males in the cage (because the males want to mate constantly as stated before), and I have a few who do better when a male is in the cage. I actually had one who was refusing food when the male left, so I put him back a month later and she started eating again. Who knows if other factors played a part but it was wierd as hell. oh well. I'd say they're fine together as long as the female is still eating and behaving normally. As soon as there's a problem given them seperate enclosures.
