LLLReptile.com has baby ball pythons for $21.99. I don't know if that's the cheapest around but if you don't mind starting out with a baby then I think that's a pretty good price. I bought mine from them about a year and a half ago and I've had no problems with him. I think the shipping is about $20 but you'll have to go to the site to make sure.

You may want to check the events listings and see if a herp show will soon be in your area. These shows ALWAYS have very cheap baby balls. The last one I went to a few weeks back had a vendor selling babies for $10.00. You can't beat that with a stick! Not to mention you have loads of breeders to ask questions, as well as, check out all the neat reptiles.
