Two Questions

1 - The water in the tank, what do I do? The Nitrate NO 3is 80 (unsafe), Nitrite NO-2is 0 (safe), Total Hardness is 300 (very hard), Total Alkalinity 180 (ideal), and pH Level 8.4 (Alkaline) Is there anything that I can change to make it more safe or ideal?

2 - Oregano's left eye (outside of it, skin) seems to be swollen. It almost looks like his eye is sunken in, but it actually the skin around it. I am going to call vet tomorrow, since it is so late right now. Any suggestions till then?
