I believe the Pits. are some of the Most Awsome animals in North America. I Just Love to come here and look through all the post with pictures. Some of you have Unbelievable Breeding stock and I never get tired of looking at all the pics you post. J.Cherry OMG it seems every time I open up a post of yours I get my breath taken away.
Enough of the Bighead makeing here. This is what I am asking of all of you.

Please let me know how many different Color phases of My personal favorites both the Bullsnake and Sonoran Gophersnakes exist both Captive Produced and Wild Localities. I would like to know what everyone here is working with at this time and Would LOVE to see pics of them as you let me know what all of them are.

I currently have a pair of Bullsnakes purchased from Jeff Dennis a Male Albino Het for Snow and a Female Hypo Het for Snow. I could go on and on about how much I Love these animals but, I think all of you know before I tell you though

P.S. I have been searching Long and hard for someone that is working with the Natural occuring Intergrade between the Bullsnake and Sonoran Gopher found around The Dallas/Fort Worth part of Texas so If you know ANYONE working with these animals :::PLEASE::::Let me know how I can get in touch with them.
Thank you in advance to everyone
Justin Monroe

Justin,

thanks for the kudos on the animals, pituophis are indeed a labor of love and are very addicting. As far a the sonrans/bull intergrades, I do not imagine that you will get anyone here to admit they are working with an intergrade LOL. As far as different color/locales being worked with, I don't think Jeff has enough band width for all of us to post all of them, as it seems everytime I think I have seen it all something new and different comes along.

With that said Though we are working with teh following:

Locales:

HWY. 277, South Texas, Amirrillo-Tx, Lubbock-TX. Kankakee Prarie Ill., White Side County,Ill., Miami County, Kansas, Colorado & Canada

Morphs:

Bell Whitesided, Trumbower Whitesided, Salt & Pepper, anthy, albino (two Lines), Snow, Hypo and variations of most of the above such as hets etc.

All in all a Total of 74 adult and subadult bulls in the breeding program at this time.

I am sure I left some out, as I am at work and doing this off the top of my head.

Considering all the other herps you work with as wel that would make for quite a large number of snakes.

I would be working QUITE a bit more here if our herp numbers were as large.

If that isn't always the case, where someone who was smiled on by the great one when his wife was blinded long enough to be tricked into saying I do. Gets paid to try and look busy. But then attempts to deride others for being lucky. Go back to sleep "OH UGLY ONE" and don't forget to set the alarm clock for quitting time. By the way have you learned how to drive slower than 50 when snake hunting?

Ahh hahahaha, For the record I never hit a dang animal and it really makes turning around alot more fun when you are doing 90 toward Alpine, lol. There is nothing like having KJ screaming like a girl and hitting you at the same time when you are hunting.

We need to hit North Fla. when you come out if our schedules allow it.
