About how much does an adult orange-eyed crocodile skink eat? I have 1.2 in a 29 gallon tank (not covered... thinking about covering the sides since they are so darn skitish), and in a week, they only ate 22 crickets and four earthworms (and it seems like the male is doing all of the eating - the females rarely move, and I have yet to actually see them taken food). Is that about right, or should I be concerned?

Also: Any suggestions on any sorts of fruits / veggies to feed them? They barely touched the chopped apple I put in their dish, nor did they eat the mixed fruit babyfood I offered them.

There are various factors that could be contributing to them not eating. Usually this species is not communal, unless they are in a very large tank with plenty of hide spots. Maybe try splitting the male away from the trio in a 10 gallon. Give them lots of hide spots. You said the tank wasn't covered, do you think it is humid enough? They like it pretty humid. Also, maybe you should try feeding mealworms. They might not be able to catch crickets as well.
